The Heartsaver program is designed for individuals who are not part of a healthcare system but need to be prepared to recognize an emergency and act fast to save a life. Heartsaver is a hands-on training class that results in a two-year course completion certificate from the American Heart Association.

How This Course Works

Online Learning + Skills Practice

After registration, you’ll receive Heartsaver Online to complete at your own pace. Once finished, you'll practice the skills learned online with one of our instructors.

  • Get Started: Register for class (Training Site or CPRRemote).
  • Step 1: Complete Heartsaver Online.
  • Step 2: Skills practice in-person or remotely.
  • Finished: Receive your Course Completion Card!
Skills practice can be completed in any of our Training Sites or remotely in our CPRRemote training program.
