+How long does the online portion take?
The eLearning portion of your program uses adaptive learning to match the amount of instruction provided with the experience level of each student. Experienced providers are able to "fast-track" through their course by demonstrating mastery of each required lesson while first time learners are provided with additional support and guidance.
  • BLS Provider - 60-90 minutes of eLearning
  • ACLS Provider - 3-10 hours of eLearning
  • PALS Provider - 4-8 of eLearning
+How long does the skills assessment take?
Most people complete their skills assessment in 30-60 minutes.
+Where can I take my skills assessment?
Skills sessions are completed in person at one of our Connecticut Training Sites:
  • Ridgefield - 109 Danbury Road Ridgefield CT
  • Fairfield - 35 Kings Highway East Fairfield CT
  • Southbury - 800 Main Street South Southbury CT
+What do I bring to the skills session?
Bring:
  • Yourself
  • Comfortable clothing suitable for CPR
It is not necessary to bring a printed copy of your eLearning certificate, laptop, or anything else to your skills assessment.
+Can I complete multiple programs at the same time?
Yes, and we offer discounted program fees when completing multiple programs as the same time. To register for multiple programs, select "ACLS Provider" or "PALS Provider" and then you'll be able to "add" Basic Life Support to your registration as you complete the registration process.
+What if I don’t pass a skills attempt?
The self-directed skills assessment includes both practice and testing. During the assessment you'll receive real-time and ongoing feedback as you perform each skill. Each attempt is graded on a numerical score of 0%- 100% and after each practice or test you'll receive specific tips to improve your performance. You must receive a minimum passing score of 75% on each required skill.
